Harris County Sheriff's Office bodycam: a man claiming to be a cop, never searched, pulls a handgun and both deputies run. He died at the scene. No deputies hurt. A hard look at the tactics.

No call brought them. A 71-year-old woman walked into the police station lobby during business hours with a handgun.

His hand was inside a brown handbag and he kept saying he had a gun. The woman he was holding kept saying he did not.

A noise complaint. The man who called 911 is the man it ends with. It went sideways the second he said he was going to get his sword.

Deputies could see the gun in his waistband and said so on the air. Two TASER 10 deployments later, he reached for it anyway.

A misdemeanor shoplift with the suspect already detained in the back office. Nothing in the call mentioned a weapon.
