  • KTLA reported he blacked out his headlights and hit more than 100 mph. Sky5’s crew said he faked a move to the south 15 before cutting back onto the 10 east.
  • He exited in Colton, ran a red light, narrowly missed another driver and turned into oncoming traffic at a stoplight. KTLA said the SUV appeared to roll into two vehicles waiting at the light.
  • Three people got out of the SUV. Sky5 followed the driver; the other two are not shown again or mentioned in KTLA’s report.
  • The driver ran with his hands up while KTLA’s crew said he kept reaching for his waistband. He tired, lay down, and officers with a K-9 unit took him into custody without further incident.
